Great Workout Shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his early Christmas present Rock 5 Iron Paradise Training Shoes! He works out everyday and wears size 15 so his shoes take a beating. He loves the fit and the cushioning in the shoe.

Great Quality Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Under Armour shoes because of their quality. To me, it is worth spending money on a nicely made shoe that will not fall apart over a year or so. You never see the glue where the sole of the shoe meets the fabric. For these shoes, I love the finger staps on the back and the front, making it easy to slide them on and off.

Comfortable, Solid and Good Fit
I find the shoe very comfortable and solid. I have issue with my ankle and find that these support me 100%.I used to train with the TriBase Reign 4 Pro, but switched to these and am happy with the Fit and Feel.

Comfortable, Looks Great, but with a Few Snags
The appearance of the shoes shown in the images vs what they look like when you actually receive them are slightly different. It appears the shoes in the professional images have been touched up/enhanced in several places as follows:
1) the rubber support band that run down both sides of the shoe and around the back of the shoe and that house the two uppermost lace holes on either side of the shoe don't appear black like they do in the images on this page and I figured out why this is. The same rubber stretches all the way around the back of the shoe to the other side but those side pieces that run up to the top two lace holes have that little open window with the lighter color of fabric showing through (upside down U shape at an angle). Well, it's that very material that's been pasted underneath that piece of rubber that is causing that part of the rubber on either side of the shoe to appear a dark gray instead of black. The whole rubber piece is semi-translucent and so that lighter color fabric piece that's pasted under it is now interacting with the dark (black) translucent rubber and giving it a dark grayish color instead of just black like the photos indicate above. If you look closely in the professional photos, you can actually just barely see the lighter color fabric behind the rubber but I can tell the image there was modified to make it look pretty much all black. Notice the photos of the Rock's images where he's wearing the shoes and you'll be able to tell that his pair also has the lighter color where those rubber parts are. If during the manufacturing process, the cloth piece that fits that angled upside U shape were cut just a touch bigger than the size of that shape, it would fix this problem and we would have a black rubber look all around as the professional photos indicate.
2) The cracking pattern seen on the sidewalls of the base of the shoe differ in the professional photos compared to the actual shoe. The shoe I have does have a cracking pattern but it's a) not as pronounced as the pro images and harder to see and b) much smaller sized cracking. Again, look at the Rock's images above and you'll see the smaller sized cracking on the pair he's wearing.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
The shoe takes a little extra effort to put on your feet but once on, are very comfortable. The rubber on the bottom of the shoes are pretty hard material so they make a somewhat louder-than-expected sound when I walk around in them. Also, the one gripe I have is also related to the rubber on the bottom of the shoes. Whatever type of rubber was chosen to be used for the bottom of this shoe... it's absolutely TERRIBLE in wet conditions and is VERY slippery. I've discovered here in LA with recent rain storms that it has very little traction on wet ground so BE CAREFUL if you're in a rainy/wet environment. Several times I've caught myself slipping/sliding and now have to walk very carefully when walking along wet surfaces.
I wear a size 10, purchased a size 10, and it fit perfectly fine and as expected.
